Bram Wiggins (1921-2014) was a Walter Stokes Orchestral Scholar at the Royal Academy of Music where his main study was the trumpet under the late George Eskdale, who subsequently invited him to join the London Symphony Orchestra as assistant first trumpet and principal cornet.
After eleven years with the LSO, Bram Wiggins joined the CBC (Winnipeg) Orchestra and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Canada, where he also worked as band director, conductor, trumpet soloist and adjudicator. On returning to the UK, he played with all the major orchestras, and also examined regularly at the Royal Academy, Trinity College and Birmingham Conservatory.
Queen's Temple Publications was founded in 1995 to make available interesting and useful wind chamber music, such as Sir Malcolm Arnold's important Wind Quintet Op. 2. Since then we have expanded to include music for piano, guitar, choral music and much more. Our publications have been selected by the major examination boards worldwide.
Our composers also include James Rae, Iain Hamilton, Charles Camilleri, Paul Harris, Timothy Bowers and many others. So if you are looking for fresh and unusual new repertoire, look no further!
